Daniela Busarello is Italian-Brazilian and lives and works in Paris. Coming from a lineage of architects, she studied in Paris at the École du Louvre and the Beaux-Arts.
In her eyes, being an artist means being interested in Our Time. She observes humanity on a sociological, philosophical and biological level, advocating respect for all forms of Life, regardless of their nature, belief, gender or nationality.
Her artistic choice is a metaphysical and abstract language, with the aim of provoking the viewer to go beyond pre-established knowledge.
Busarello immerses herself in the territories through experiences, observations and encounters, where she collects relics: water, minerals, plants; for the artist, more than simple supports, they are living pigments made up of ancestral knowledge. They are expressions of life, fertility and decay in themselves, but they are also infallible witnesses to the past, present and future of a place. Thus emphasising the unity formed by nature, the cosmos and the human, which are inseparable.
Busarello has participated in exhibitions at the Oscar Niemeyer Museum in Brazil, Fondazione dell’Alberto d’Oro and Istituto Veneto di Scienze Lettere ed Arti in Venice, Art Basel Design Miami in Basel, PAD Paris and London. His work is part of private and public collections such as Mobilier National, Fondation Thalie and the Royal Collection of Jordan.
The artist is currently taking part in the exhibition ‘Sentiences, écouter le parfum de la couleur’ at Maubuisson Abbey, a contemporary art site of the Val d’Oise Departmental Council – where she is presenting the installation Terræ.Spiritus.
Her current research centres on experiments with a medieval method of transforming plants into pigments. She collected species from the Atlantic Rainforest on the pavements of a city of 3 million inhabitants in southern Brazil. She is currently working on five monumental paintings depicting her impressions of a recent expedition to the Brazilian Amazon.
Daniela Busarello é ítalo-brasileira, vive e trabalha em Paris. Vinda de uma linhagem de arquitetos, estudou em Paris na École du Louvre e nas Beaux-Arts.
Aos seus olhos, ser artista significa se interessar por Nossa Época. Ela observa a humanidade nos níveis sociológico, filosófico e biológico, defendendo o respeito por todas as formas de Vida, independentemente de sua natureza, crença, gênero ou nacionalidade.
Sua escolha artística é um idioma metafísico e abstrato, com o objetivo de provocar o observador a ir além de um conhecimento pré-estabelecido.
Busarello se imerge nos territórios por meio de experiências, observações e encontros, onde coleta relíquias: água, minerais, plantas; Para a artista, mais do que simples suportes, são pigmentos vivos compostos de conhecimento ancestral. Eles são expressões de vida, fertilidade e decomposição por si só, mas também são testemunhas infalíveis do passado, presente e futuro de um lugar.
Assim, acentuando a unidade formada pela natureza, o cosmos e o humano, inseparáveis.

Seu trabalho faz parte de coleções privadas e públicas, como Mobilier National, Fondation Thalie, Coleção Real da Jordânia.
Atualmente, a artista participa da exposição “Sentiences, écouter le parfum de la couleur” na Abadia de Maubuisson, um site de arte contemporânea do Conselho Departamental do Val d’Oise – onde apresenta a instalação Terræ.Spiritus.
Sua pesquisa atual se concentra em experimentos com um método medieval de transformação de plantas em pigmentos. Ela coletou espécies da Mata Atlântica nas calçadas de uma cidade de 3 milhões de habitantes no sul do Brasil. Atualmente, está trabalhando em cinco pinturas monumentais que descrevem suas impressões de uma recente expedição à Amazônia brasileira.
