Luis Maluf Gallery, founded in 2014, is recognised for embracing experimentalism and attracting a young audience interested in challenges and reflection. Located in the Jardins and Barra Funda neighbourhoods, the latter of which opened in 2021 and hosts an annual artist residency, the gallery is expanding its mission in the Barra Funda region, promoting artistic training and access to Brazilian culture. Both gallery spaces seek to emphasise emerging experimental artistic production, attracting a young audience interested in exploring the complexity, intensity and contradictions of the contemporary world through works that challenge common sense. By seeking out artists from different generations, the gallery prioritises those who are bolder and stand out for their originality, valuing their commitment to the future of art.
