Desirée Jaromicz Feldmann (1989) was born in Santa Cruz do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul. She lives and works in Brasília, Federal District.
A visual artist since 2021, she has a degree in Fashion and specializes in Fashion Communication, has worked in graphic design and has also provided support for architectural projects. She sees her work as a hybrid research that combines formal processes and traditional and ancestral knowledge, and is interested in how they behave from this relationship. In her work, she establishes devices for the production of subjectivity, creating contexts in which the boundaries between the familiar and the strange become fluid and interchangeable.

She took part in the orientation group Clínica Geral, promoted by Ateliê 397 (2022-2023) under the guidance of Érica Burini and Kauê Garcia. She took part in the critical monitoring of Casa da Escada Colorida with curator Ana Elisa Lidizia (2022). She was selected for the 28th Salão de Artes de Vinhedo (2022); the 18th Salão Ubatuba de Artes Visuais (2022); and the 52nd Salão de Arte Contemporânea de Piracicaba (2023-2024). She took part in the BOTH Worlds Epecuén artistic residency in Argentina (2023). She won an award at the 20th Território da Arte de Araraquara (2023). She was selected for the GAS Project (2024), promoted by the Anita Schwartz Gallery and participated in the 3rd Luis Maluf Art Residency (2024).
